Vintage 1950s Barbara Ann Scott 15” Reliable Composition Doll In Original Dress. This 15 inch composition doll was made by Reliable Doll Company sometime between 1948-54. She is in overall very good condition for her age, but not perfect. She features a brown mohair wig in very good shape, blue sleepy eyes with shadow and painted lower lashes, faded multistroke brows, and an open mouth with at least 6 teeth! She has all of her lashes. Her eyes open and close as they should. Her stringing is just right. She can stand and balance independently and hold a pose. She has all of the fingers on both of her hands. Her face is in very good condition with virtually no visible crazing. She does have obvious crazing to her chest and torso, with one small piece that is starting to lift. She has a scuff on her right shoulder. She has some rough textured finish to the composition on her derrière and the back of her right arm. The socket of her left pelvis shows some roughness to the edges of the socket. Once again, the stringing of her limbs is very good. She is marked RELIABLE DOLL on her head. She is dressed in her original white skating dress with gold dots and matching headpiece. The skirt features a white feather trim. One end of a feather in the back is loose. Her ice skates are original and in very good condition. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
