Description
Marshal Dodge City BadgeDodge City had a reputation as one of the toughest towns on the frontier. The original of this marshal badge was worn by several famous lawmen, including Bat Masterson, Wyatt Earp, Charlie Bassett, & Bill Tilghman.

US Marshall Tombstone
-- Fred White wore such a badge during his short tenure as Marshall of Tombstone. Fred was shot and killed by Curly Bill Brocius after less than a year in office.
Sheriff Tombstone
--Tombstone's first sheriff was John Behan. Shortly after Behan became sheriff, Virgil Earp was appointed as City Marshal. The Earps had a conflict with the Clantons and the McLaurys, while Behan supported them. Behan also had an interest in Josephine Sarah Marcus, but she was sweet on Wyatt Earp, so Behan held a special dislike for Wyatt.
Cochise County Sheriff
--This type of badge was worn by Johnny Behan, the first sheriff of Cochise County. The famous shootout at the OK Corral took place during his term in 1881. Behan later became superintendent of the Yuma Territorial Prison.
