Beyond that, a push-pull highpass filter greatly expands your sonic options. The JS1CR includes an Edge tremolo, which supplies twisting, bending, and dive-bombing with reliable intonation.
Note: To honor the world-renowned Joe Satriani Signature Series, the Ibanez R&D team worked closely with Joe to develop a finish that was worthy of both Joe's approval, and of the Chrome Boy moniker. Each and every JS1 Chrome Boy will have passed stringent Ibanez quality control standards; however due to the unique nature of this striking finish, some minor imperfections may be expected, are considered normal.
Thin, rigid neck and treated frets for maximum playability
You'll find that the JS neck profile on the JS1CR gives you a solid fretting foundation while allowing you to play as fast as you like. It's a 3-piece maple/bubinga neck, too, which is more rigid than a 1-piece neck and transfers vibration better. Capping the JS neck is a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, loaded with medium frets that offer an amazingly fluid feel.
DiMarzio humbucker and Sustainiac circuit deliver unlimited tonal versatility

Its DiMarzio Satchur8 bridge humbucker serves up glorious high-output tones with loads of harmonics and definition. Highpass filter enhances highs when you roll your volume down

Its volume control houses a push-pull highpass filter that prevents you from losing your high-frequency edge when you've got your volume rolled back.
