    Higher grade George III 24mm brass spade guinea gaming token with false 1701 date. It was issued by Liffe & Gardner-Birmingham, England makers of diesinkers, tool makers and stampers, etc. These types of tokens were produced well into the 1800's using dates prior to the year they were actually struck. This token has a date of 1701, but it is uncertain when it was actually produced.
