    Description

The Fostoria Milk Glass Chanticleer was made in the 1950's. It is said that less than 20 of these left the factory. The original Chanticleer had a split tail which would break upon removal from the mould. The mould was modified to include a one piece tail. However, Fostoria still had problems producing the milk glass version of the Chanticleer and it was discontinued. These are considered very rare. Here is your opportunity to own a most cherished piece of Fostoria history. This piece will elevate any Fostoria Collection above and beyond any other. This piece is for the serious collector. I promise it does not disappoint. Please examine all the photos and ask any questions. The Chanticleer stands tall and straight as shown in the photos. There are no chips or cracks in this piece. This Chanticleer is simply spectacular. If you purchase this piece, you will own something that possibly fewer than 20 people in the entire country own. How often do you get a chance to do that. This piece is priced for the serious collector. It is not for the person simply hoping to find something to sell in their booth at the local antique mall. Garage sale shoppers move on. This is for the collector who understands what is being offered and has an appreciation for the history and the value of it. I only accept PayPal, so don't ask otherwise. If you live in Indiana you will have to pay sales tax. Sorry but it is the law. Once funds have been paid and verified, I will ship UPS overnight so it's not traveling across country, bouncing in the back of a truck. It will be packaged in a box within a box and and enough packing material to survive a head on collision. It will also be insured for your protection and for mine. I will spare no effort to get it to you safely. Your money is not at risk. Now, before you send me emails telling me that you think I have lost my mind pricing it so high. I can only say, if you know where a less expensive Fostoria Milk Glass Chanticleer is, then I encourage you to buy it. Know that I would rather keep it than give it away, and I am prepared to accept that possibility
