    Description

    I have for sale a 20 year advertising token for the First National Bank of Dunmore that was located in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.  This bank was established in January of 1910 and was located at 102 E. Drinker St.  In 1980 it opened a branch office in Scranton, Pa. and in 1984 a branch in Dickson City, Pa..  In 1988 the bank name was changed to the First National Community Bank.  This bank is still active.  The token looks to be bronze and it was gilted when new with some gilt remaining.  It is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and in circulated condition.  One side shows the bust of GEORGE WASHINGTON with his name.  On the other side it reads FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF DUNMORE - 20 YEARS - OF - SERVICE - 1910-1930.  Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables.  (17,374)
