    Description

I have a beautiful vintage signed set of 6, Fostoria crystal Champagne Cocktail Coupe / tall sherbet Glasses in the Trousseaux pattern. In near mint condition. Each Glass has a gorgeous 6 sided stem and is decorated with a thin band of platinum around the rim. Platinum is a white silver metal more rare and precious than gold. Fostoria was a premiere American Crystal and Glass Company , and their glassware and Crystal was even the choice of Presidents for use in the White House before it went out of business in the 1980s.
Please see all of my pictures and feel free to message me if you have any questions.
I would recommend hand washing these beauties to avoid the harsh and damaging chemicals of dish washer detergent which can etch and ruin your fine crystal over time.

    3. 3/8" wide mouth
    2 7/8" Wide base
7 oz capacity filled to the rim

    Coupe
The champagne coupe is a shallow, broad-bowled saucer shaped stemmed glass generally capable of containing 180 to 240 ml (6.1 to 8.1 US fl oz) of liquid.Legend has it the shape of the coupe was modelled on the left breast of the French Queen Marie Antoinette, wife of King Louis XVI of France, but the glass was designed in England over a century earlier especially for sparkling wine and champagne in 1663. The coupe was fashionable in France from its introduction in the 1700s and in the United States from the 1930s. Coupes are also often used for cocktails.
Please see my pictures and feel free to message me with any questions. I have other glasses in this pattern in separate auctions if you are interested. They are the water goblets and also the iced tea glasses. Thank you for looking!
